You will join one of Eastern Watersports certified instructors on a Hobie Wave Catamaran for our Intro to Sailing lesson. You'll learn some basic sailing concepts and get a real feel for the wind in your sails. This course will have you sailing in no time\, and this course also meets our requirement for you to rent a catamaran with Eastern Watersports. \n \nThis class will teach you the essentials for sailing including: \n \n Basic Terms \n Rigging and Handling \n Wind Dynamics \n Performance \n Speed Control \n Tacking and Jibes \n Boating Safety \n Water Skills \n \nOur sailing lessons start at $125 and are taught at our Sailing Lessons are held at Eastern Watersports @  Hammerman Beach\, 7200 Graces Quarters Rd\, Baltimore MD\, 21220. Students must be at least 13 years old if they are going alone and must be at least 9 years old is they are taking the class with an adult. \n \nWe will provide you with the following equipment for the course: \n \n Life Jacket \n Safety Whistle \n \nWe ask that you bring the following items with you for your paddle board lessons: \n \n Towel \n Sunscreen \n Bathing Suit \n Water \n Water shoes or sandals REQUIRED \n \nOur boats typically fill up quickly\, so if you're thinking about getting into the sport\, reserve a spot on one of the boats today! \n \nStudents must arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled time to check in. \n \n[maxbutton id="7" url="https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/auto/?auto_waiverid5ee7f6677c2e0auto_tagSailingLesson" ] \n \nRefund Policy: Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.
