*Last Rental is at 5:45 June-August.  Last Rental is at 4:45 May & September.  **Off Season Rentals are based on weather and are self serve.  After hours rentals are available, call for details.

We do not rent if wind speeds are over 15mph.  Rentals must be returned 15 minutes prior to closing.  We do offer sunset guided tours, please reserve your space for these tours by clicking here.

Paddlesport Rental Information

We offer a variety of kayak, paddle board, and canoe rentals.  Our kayak rentals range from sit-in, sit-on, 10 feet, 12 feet, tandem (2 person), and fishing kayaks.  Our paddleboard rental fleet consists of 10’6″ and 11′ boards for  versatility and durability.

All rentals include a PFD, Whistle and Paddle.  Waterproof bags and cell phone cases are available too.

Feel free to bring your dog or cat (Seriously?!?) along with you.  Nails must be trimmed.   Life Jackets MUST be worn and are available for rent.

*Off-Site Weekend Rentals may be picked up as early as Friday at 4pm and returned no later than 11am on Monday.  Please check our regular business hours.

Rental Policies

​Operations & Timing

  • ​First Come, First Served: All rentals are first come, first served.
  • ​Last Rental Time: Last rental times vary by season (4:45 PM in Spring/Fall; 5:45 PM in Summer). Please refer to the Rental Hours of Operation table above for today’s specific cutoff time.
  • ​Late Returns: There is a 15-minute grace period on returns. Beyond that, an additional full hour will be charged.
  • ​Off-Site Weekend Rentals: Equipment may be picked up as early as Friday at 4pm and returned no later than 11am on Monday.

​Payment & Deposits

  • ​Card & Mobile Payment Only: We are a cashless facility. We accept all major credit/debit cards and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Tap to Pay). Cash and checks are not accepted.
  • ​Security Deposit: A valid physical credit or debit card is required to be left with the counter staff as a security deposit (one card per group). The card will not be charged unless there is damage to the equipment.
    • ​Note for Mobile Pay Users: If you are paying via mobile device and do not have a physical card, you may leave a valid Driver’s License AND your vehicle keys as your deposit. Items are held to ensure the safe return of rental equipment.

​Age Requirements

  • ​Ages 15-17: Can paddle alone with a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
  • ​Ages 10-14: Can rent their own vessel but must be accompanied on the water by a renting adult.
  • ​Under 10: Must accompany a parent or guardian on a tandem kayak or paddleboard.

​Safety, Weather & Pets

  • ​Life Jackets (PFDs): Life jackets MUST be worn at all times. (Note: PFDs are included with your rental. If you are bringing your own boat, we have them available for rent).
  • ​Sobriety: There is to be no alcohol, tobacco, or drug use prior to or during the rental. Customers suspected to be intoxicated will be asked to leave without refund or rental.
  • ​Weather Policy: In case of storms, Eastern Watersports will close until 30 minutes have passed since the last lightning flash or thunder is heard.
  • ​Pets: You are welcome to bring your dog or cat along with you! Nails must be trimmed. Pets must wear Life Jackets (available for rent if you do not have your own).
