If it’s been a while since your last dive PADI’s ReActivate Scuba Refresher program will help you feel comfortable getting back in the water. Whether you have a dive trip coming up or want to pursue additional dive training, PADI Scuba Tune-Up Refresher allows you to quickly refresh your knowledge and scuba skills. The course is designed to help you focus only on the topics where your knowledge may have lapsed, and skip over material you know well. Any certified diver can enroll in the PADI Scuba Tune-Up Refresher course, and you can ask for a sticker to put on your certification card to show you’ve recently refreshed your skills.

How does the refresher work?

To get started, register for Scuba Tune-up Online.  Next, schedule a pool session here.  You will join other students learning the basic scuba skills.

What does scuba tune-up cover?

Using home-study material, you’ll review important dive safety concepts, dive planning, and problem management. Working with a PADI Professional, you’ll practice putting a scuba unit together and doing a predive safety check. In the water, you’ll review all the basic scuba skills – with a focus on good buoyancy control.

What does it cost?

The cost of the scuba tune-up eLearning is $67.10 and the pool session is $135.00.  You aren’t required to complete the eLearning if you’d simply like to refresh your water skills; however, we recommend both.  You will work with a PADI instructor and other students as you refresh your basic scuba skills.  You can also join us for a checkout dive by registering here.
